1-on-1 IB MYP Sciences tutoring across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for all MYP year groups. All four assessment criteria — including scientific inquiry design and data analysis — and MYP eAssessment preparation.
IB MYP Sciences — Four Assessment Criteria
MYP subjects are assessed on four criteria (A–D), each marked out of 8. Our tutors help you maximise marks on every criterion.
Recalls, explains, and applies scientific knowledge and concepts from all three disciplines. Uses scientific terminology accurately. Explains and analyses the relationship between science and technology, society, and the environment.
Formulates a clear research question and testable hypothesis. Designs a safe, ethical, and rigorous methodology with appropriate variables (independent, dependent, controlled) and method for collecting reliable data.
Correctly records, processes, and presents quantitative and qualitative data using appropriate formats (tables, graphs). Interprets results and draws justified conclusions. Evaluates the reliability and validity of results; identifies and explains sources of error.
Discusses how science and its applications affect society, the environment, and individuals. Evaluates the benefits and limitations of scientific developments. Applies science to real-world issues and considers ethical implications.
