India-Specific FAQ

Is IBDP recognised in Indian universities?

Yes, most major Indian universities recognize IBDP for admission, especially liberal-arts colleges (Ashoka, FLAME, Azim Premji). However, IITs and AIIMS do NOT accept IB directly—you must take JEE or NEET. Clarify your target early so we can align tutoring accordingly.

Can I take IB exams in India?

Yes. IB exams are administered in authorized centres across India in May and November. You’re administered simultaneously with the rest of the world. No disadvantage by location.

Can I do IB + JEE/NEET simultaneously?

Yes, but it’s demanding. Some students do both successfully; others find the load unsustainable. IB subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Math) overlap with JEE/NEET, but the exam styles differ. We help you align so both reinforce each other instead of fighting for your time.

My school teaches in a rote style. How do I adjust?

Common in India. IB requires independent thinking, not memorization. We help you shift from “What facts do I need?” to “What does the question ask me to understand?” We emphasize conceptual clarity and exam technique.

After IB, what are my options?

IB is recognized globally and opens doors in India, US, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe. IBDP (32–40 points depending on university) is equivalent to A-levels or AP.
